產業生態與生命週期觀點之產業發展比較分析—以CRT與TFT-LCD產業為例陳欽雨大葉大學事業經營研究所cychen@mail.dyu.edu.tw葉佳欣大葉大學事業經營研究所碩士edith8053@yahoo.com.tw摘要本研究以產業生態、產業演化、產業與技術生命週期及策略矩陣的相關理論為基礎，運用蒐集之研究文獻及次級資料，採紮根理論之歸納法彙整共通概念，並以產業分析法探討產業技術演進、產業結構、趨勢脈動與生命週期等課題。為探討CRT與TFT-LCD產業之間各類技術發展課題的關聯性，建構產業技術發展一般模式，本研究透過實證比較及分析兩種產業之技術發展趨勢，發展命題並加以詮釋和論證。研究結果顯示：(1)TFT-LCD與CRT產業發展是高度關聯的，其技術發展之相互關係則是連續性的，而非斷層的。(2)分析CRT產業的發展趨勢與脈動，可觀察與預測TFT-LCD產業的未來勢態，形成產業技術演化通則。(3)根據產業與技術生命週期分析法發現，CRT產業之生命週期約長達40年之久，其技術生命週期推估約為5至6年；而TFT-LCD產業發展時間只約20年之久，其每一新世代的產業技術生命週期只有1.5年到2年，且每進入一個新世代具有產量倍增的特性。為因應未來產業變遷及拓展國際市場，本文最後對業者提出策略方案與建議，研究結果可供政府及業者進行產業規劃及經營策略分析之參考。關鍵詞：產業生態、生命週期、產業策略矩陣-1-AComparativeAnalysisofCRTandTFT-LCDIndustrialDevelopment:TheViewpointsofIndustrialEcologyandLifeCycleChin-YeuChenGraduateInstituteofBusinessAdministration,Da-YehUniversitycychen@mail.dyu.edu.twChia-HsinYehGraduateInstituteofBusinessAdministration,Da-YehUniversityedith8053@yahoo.com.twABSTRACTThecurrentstudyconsiderstheindustrialecology,industrialevolution,lifecycle,andstrategymatrixanalysisasthefoundationoftheory.Usingthesecondarymaterials,theauthorsintendtoinductsomeholisticcommonconceptsbetweenCRTandTFT-LCDindustries,whicharemutuallyverifiedwiththeabovetheories.AninductiveindustryanalysismethodwhichisbasedonthegroundedtheoryisadoptedtoinvestigatetheCRTandTFT-LCDtechnologyevolution,industrialstructure,tendencypulsation,andtheirlifecycles.Moreover,anempiricalstudyisconductedtocompareandanalyzethistwoindustries’currentstatusandfuturetrendsoftechnologydevelopment.TheissuesandrelationsofCRTandTFT-LCDindustriesarediscussedtobuildagenericmodeloftechnologydevelopment,whichcanhelpthepractitionerstofacetheindustrialchangesandexpandtheirinternationalmarkets.ThefinalresultsindicatethatthedevelopmentofCRTandTFT-LCDindustriesishighlyrelated,andtheirrelationsoftechnologydevelopmentarecontinuousratherthandiscrete.Besides,byobservingthetrendsandpulsationofCRTindustry,peoplecanpredictthefuturedevelopmentpatternsofTFT-LCDindustry.Basedontheanalysisofindustrialandtechnologicallifecycles,thestudyrevealsthatthePLCofCRTisabout40years,whileTFT-LCDisonlynear20years.ItseemstruethattheTFT-LCDtechnologicallifecycleofeachgenerationrangesfrom1.5yeasto2years,andthereisacertaincharacteristicofdoubleoutputofproductionvolumewhentheTFT-LCDproduct’stechnologyproceedstonextgeneration.Someimportantfindingscanbethereferenceforgovernmenttoperformindustrialplanningandforpractitionerstoimplementtheoperationalstrategiesofcompanies.Keywords:industrialecology,lifecycle,industrialstrategymatrix-2-壹、前言從1970年代開始，台灣的資訊工業利用OEM/ODM代工生產的經營模式，帶動了經濟成長及累積可觀外匯，經過多年的推動及發展，資訊工業已逐漸在台灣的經濟體系中佔有舉足輕重之角色。近年來，光電產業在台灣已漸次發展為一體系完整的產業，多項硬體產品如監視器、影像掃描器及個人數位助理(PDA)等，其產量及產值更高居世界之首位。然而，隨著個人電腦相關產業的逐漸...
